Wildgoose Space

Our intention with Wildgoose Space is:

“To provide attractive, affordable work and leisure space for local residents to help sustain a strong sense of community, creative endeavour and enterprise within the neighbourhood of Ashley Vale.”

Wildgoose space comprises of a beautiful community room for hire and 3 work units. Wildgoose Space was completed by AVAG in September 2009 and forms the ground floor of a large renovated office block at the entrance to the eco self build community, The Yard. The community room is 11 x 7 meters, with underfloor heating (from a renewable heating system, powered by sun and wood), has an oak floor, kitchen/bar area, ceiling to floor windows (which flood the space with natural light), data projector and sound system. The room is accessible with a disabled parking bay and a ramp for access as required.

The room is perfectly suited for all kinds of occasions and hire - from Yoga and dance workshops, to private events, celebrations, media events (such as film screenings) and training. Rates vary and start from £12.00 per hour. The 3 work units are homes to 3 locally based, small and not for profit enterprises.
